The dominant male Kragel usually makes the female Kragel follow him through the means of a small balloon carried before her. The smell of the balloon is irresistible to the female and is commonly used as part of the species’ mating ritual. Male Kragels coat the balloon in reproductive pheromones and biological fluids, causing the female to enter a highly attached and reproductive state. Reproduction within the species is extremely uncontrolled and often reckless. Pregnancy frequently goes unnoticed by both partners until live birth occurs spontaneously, sometimes during movement or migration. Offspring, known as “Birthlings,” are physically underdeveloped at birth and highly vulnerable. Due to the female’s immense size and poor environmental awareness, accidental crushing of newborns is extremely common, contributing to the species’ notoriously high infant mortality rate.

Males are generally passive, talkative, manipulative, and socially deceptive. Females display animalistic attachment behavior toward the scent-balloon. Kragels have poor understanding of territorial borders and regulations. Parenting instincts are extremely weak despite males often claiming strong family values. They reproduce frequently and recklessly. Females unintentionally destroy surroundings through sheer body mass. The species is considered difficult to police due to their ability to disguise negligence as confusion or misunderstanding.

Dense fog regions, humid forests, abandoned industrial lands, and restricted Mythical containment zones. Kragels prefer isolated areas with low visibility and soft terrain capable of supporting the female's extreme body mass. They are rarely permitted near civilian settlements due to environmental destruction, hygiene concerns, and breeding hazards.
